The enchanting interior of the little white manor house
Behind the modest whitewashed façade opens a surprisingly spacious and elegant world, where every room, every piece of furniture and every detail was carefully conceived by the most celebrated architects and designers of the age, J.C. Lillie and Andreas Kirkerup. The Calmette family had a taste for quality and style – and the means to have only the very best. Beyond the four columns, the luxury of the 18th century awaits, including the original chandeliers that still hang exactly as they did then.

A romantic park by Møns Klint
Liselund's park took shape in less than fifteen years, with winding paths, beautiful trees and exotic buildings such as the Norwegian Cabin, the Swiss Cottage and the Chinese Pavilion. The path leads you from the sheltered calm of the clearing out towards the cliffs and the sea, where nature holds sway. Here you encounter the perfect blend of the tranquil and the dramatic that has long made this place celebrated as an enchanting park.
